A supporting organization is most valuable when it provides direct support to its members. Through maintaining close contact to its members we strive to develop solutions for individuals, but also for broader challenges.
Representation of interests
One of our main tasks is the representation of industry's interests towards Styria's legislative and administrative bodies. Styria's competitiveness as an industrial region and the needs of its businesses are our top priority!
Public relations
In particular we are concerned with ensuring that the interests of the industry are brought to the attention of the public and target audiences. Issues concerning working environment, environmental protection, cost burden, etc. are communicated by us through our intensive media activities. Another important aspect of our PR work is showcasing individual businesses and their efforts. In addition, we have established strong contacts to regional and national media.
Service
A member must and should expect help from its supporting organization in solving individual problems. Our employees strive to help with all arising problems in an immediate and competent manner. Our services include representation of interests, networking, press work, individual supporting, and organizing company events. Furthermore we communicate with our members through iv-exclusives (newsletter with 3.000 subscribers), iv-positions (industry’s magazine with 10 issues per year and 8.500 readers), iv press summary (daily with 3.000 recipients), iv-TopApp (member briefings, event calendar with 750 users).
Network
The IV informs its members about the newest industry-relevant developments as they occur. We follow a pro-active approach and keep up with the fast development of events, so that we can influence the outcome to the benefits of our members.
Shaping the future
We consider ourself as think tank of the industry, which is responsible for shaping political and socio-political conditions. We strive to accelerate Styria's development within an internationally competitive market.
Communication and cooperation
Since our foundation we consider outself as a platform for industry representatives. Especially in today's fast-paced society, the building of communicative networks on a regional level is of utmost importance.
